For the next eight days, I will be working on abstract encaustic wax paintings at the Marjie Mabel Project artist residency in Vancouver, Washington.
November 11 – 20 in Forest Grove, Oregon. Come shop six new watercolors from my Oregon coast road trip, plus art prints & urchin bowls! Ten days of festivities including food, music, and meet-the-artist events.

This was a challenging painting for me, but it’s finished and I’m happy with it! It took me outside my comfort zone in both scale and composition.
