100 Turtles Project
100 uniquely sculpted ceramic and porcelain sea turtle hatchlings represent the 99% of hatchlings that are now born female at some major nesting sites around the world, due to rising sand temperatures during incubation. Out of these 100 turtles, only one is male, represented by the white / turquoise variant. 100 turtles is also approximately the size of a single nest. One in 100 hatchlings will survive to adulthood. For each 100-turtle nest, what are the chances that the one surviving adult turtle will be the single male hatchling?Click here to learn more about the 100 Turtles Project
