Glow-in-the-dark squid lure
An invitation to look up, to linger and explore, to return and see how light and weather make changes over time.
This outdoor string art installation was wrapped between three trees 11ft. above the trail in the Tillamook forest, outside Portland, Oregon. The brightly colored yellow, green and blue string glowed in the summer sunlight for nearly four months, between June and September 2016.
The installation explored ideas in low-impact outdoor sculpture that complements the landscape and encourages interaction and playfulness.
On view summer 2016, 10am - 5pm daily
