One of 18 transparent panels installed at Hagg Lake, Oregon, illustrating the vibrancy and connections between local plants, animals, and human activity, with a focus on native species.

Facing the bridge and creek, the Wall Creek panel features a stand of Alder trees, with their white trunks rising out of the water. Ripe Plums hang down from branches above. A Beaver swims through the stream above its dam visible at the bottom of the panel, surrounded by tall Horsetail.

On the opposite side of the panel, a Western Redcedar frames the view, with a Western Pond Turtle looking up from below.

In this description, the names of plants and animals are capitalized in accordance with Robin Wall Kimmerer's gesture of acknowledgement, respect, and reciprocity towards the many species that share our world, supporting and sustaining us in ways we may or may not know.
