Twin Oaks #1032
*** Coming Soon! ***
One of 18 transparent panels installed at Hagg Lake, Oregon, illustrating the vibrancy and connections between local plants, animals, and human activity, with a focus on native species.
Facing the lake, the Twin Oaks panel features a sunny golden meadow at the end of summer, with Checkermallow blooming in the foreground and a Great Blue Heron at the water's edge. A Black-Tailed Deer is visible over the hilltop.
On the opposite side of the panel, facing inland, Oregon White Oak leaves and acorns frame a view of two grazing Black-Tailed Deer, surrounded by blue Camas flowers, a Dragonfly, Duskywing Butterfly, and Chocolate Lily.
In this description, the names of plants and animals are capitalized in accordance with Robin Wall Kimmerer's gesture of acknowledgement, respect, and reciprocity towards the many species that share our world, supporting and sustaining us in ways we may or may not know.
