Palm trees line the boardwalk above the long pier at Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara, California. Built in 1872, it is the oldest working wood wharf in California and celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2022. The wharf is 2,300 feet long, supported by 2,307 pilings.
