Down a quiet road in Koloa on Kauai's south shore is the oldest Catholic church on the island, St. Raphael's. Founded in 1841, the church is adjacent to the historic Hapa Trail connecting Koloa and Poipu. The site has views from Mt. Ha'upu (at left) to the ocean (opposite Ha'upu, not seen in this painting).
