Inspired by the busy, dynamic life of tidal shallows. Metallic gold wax sparkles in the light at different angles in this piece. Drawings in white ink above the encaustic wax add depth, and found objects from local nature walks add a sculptural, dimensional layer.

Mounted on 1.5" deep cradled birch wood panel with a natural finish. Ready to hang.
