Inspired by the mud, stones, matted leaves, and green water at the river's edge.
Metallic gold wax and ink sparkle in the light at different angles in this piece. Drawings in black ink above and below the encaustic wax add depth, and found objects from local nature walks add a sculptural, dimensional layer.
Mounted on 1.5" deep cradled birch wood panel with a natural finish. Ready to hang.
