Inspired by the mud, stones, matted leaves, and green water at the river's edge.

Drawings in black ink above and below the encaustic wax add depth, and found objects from local nature walks add a sculptural, dimensional layer, accented by metallic gold ink.

Mounted on 1.5" deep cradled birch wood panel with a natural finish. Ready to hang.
