Point Robinson Lighthouse, Vashon Island #1069 Purchase
A tangle of sculptural driftwood surrounds Point Robinson Lighthouse at the eastern tip of Vashon Maury Island, just offshore from Seattle, Washington. The site has provided fog and lighthouse service for vessels since 1885. The current lighthouse was built in 1915, a twin of the Alki Point Lighthouse. The main door of the lighthouse is labeled 1885, and the door of the smaller oil shed is labeled 1913.
