Stitched with a mix of fishing rope reclaimed from commercial fisheries in Newport, Oregon, and ghost net washed up on the Newport shoreline from Korean fisheries. "Ukidama" means fishing floats in Japanese and is usually used to describe the netted glass floats that were used in East Asian fisheries until the 1960s, now replaced by plastic.
