December's full moon is known as the Long Night Moon, Bitter Moon, Cold Moon, and Oak Moon in various Native American and Chinese cultures.
When it falls closest to the winter solstice, it is also known as the Mourning Moon.
Drawing completed in my Oregon home with evergreens, pine cones, and dusty miller from our yard.
