One of 18 transparent panels installed at Hagg Lake, Oregon, illustrating the vibrancy and connections between local plants, animals, and human activity, with a focus on native species.

Facing the lake, the Elks panel features a grazing pair of Roosevelt Elk, surrounded by Sword Ferns and the bright autumn colors of Bigleaf Maple trees. A life-size Elk hoofprint highlights the bottom of the panel.

On the opposite side of the panel, facing inland, Trout and Bass fish are seen swimming below overhanging Douglas Fir branches with their signature "mouse-tail" pinecones. A shadowy Sturgeon swims near the bottom of the panel.
