Cape Kiwanda Rock #1052
Kiawanda Rock at Cape Kiwanda is one of Oregon's most iconic sea stacks. The sandy beach at Cape Kiwanda is a popular dory boat launch and surf spot in Pacific City, on the northern Oregon coast. The offshore basalt islet of Kiawanda Rock is named for Chief Kiawanda, a leader of the local Nestugga Tribe in the early 1800s. Today, Kiawanda Rock is a protected bird habitat, part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge.
