C-Ramp South Trail #1035
*** Coming Soon! ***
One of 18 transparent panels installed at Hagg Lake, Oregon, illustrating the vibrancy and connections between local plants, animals, and human activity, with a focus on native species.Facing the lake, the C-Ramp Trail panel features a Great Blue Heron catching a Perch, with a closeup of Snowberry bushes at the bottom of the panel.
On the opposite side of the panel, facing inland, tall trunks of Douglas Fir trees frame the view, with their distinctive "mouse-tail" cones at the top of the panel. A Townsend's Chipmunk climbs between Snowberry bushes, with a flock of Dark-Eyed Oregon Juncos at the bottom of the panel.
In this description, the names of plants and animals are capitalized in accordance with Robin Wall Kimmerer's gesture of acknowledgement, respect, and reciprocity towards the many species that share our world, supporting and sustaining us in ways we may or may not know.
