Rock Study 1 of Freese Island #204 Purchase
View from our house on Deer Isle across the water to Freese Island. These rocks have always been favorites of mine. High tide covers them up to the pink granite, mid-tide has stained the lower rocks a purplish gray, and orange seaweed grows below. This is a view at mid-tide - low tide reveals more seaweed and the mud flats at the bottom of the bay.
