Net Fishers #293 Purchase
Two local Kauai fishermen extract their catch from the net on the shoreline lava rocks. Fishermen in Hawaii have favored net fishing since ancient times. The fishermen's modern accessories and nylon net are minimal cues to remind us that this is a modern scene, otherwise unchanged for hundreds of years.
